Privacy Policy

Quiet Clean for iPhone ยท Effective October 26, 2026

In short: Quiet Clean does not collect any data. Your photos and videos are analyzed on your iPhone and never leave it. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.

Who we are

Quiet Clean is made by Joshua Young (publishing as Boxwick). In this policy, "we" means the developer of Quiet Clean.

Your photos and videos

Deleting and shrinking items

Quiet Clean only removes or replaces items after you confirm, through Apple's own system prompt. Removed items go to the Recently Deleted album in the Photos app, where you can recover them for 30 days before iOS removes them permanently. When you make a video smaller, the new copy is created on your iPhone and the original goes to Recently Deleted.

Data stored on your device

To work properly, Quiet Clean keeps a small amount of information in its own storage on your iPhone, such as your current selections and a record of its cleanups. This stays on your device (and in your own device backups, if you use them). We cannot see it. Deleting the app removes it.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your name, payment details or Apple Account information. The app checks with Apple's StoreKit on your device to confirm whether you've unlocked it. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles purchases.

What we don't do

Children

Quiet Clean is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

If you email us

If you contact support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write, and use it only to reply to you. Please don't send photos unless you want to.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above. If the app ever starts collecting data, this page will say so before that version is released.
